huh. I understood that to be the new rolling reboot. I had done it the old way several times when it froze up. Never gave me more time. At least not that I saw.

You push the "make Jill talk" button for 10 seconds then the center button and it will refresh the screen. Anything more than that you need to call into tech support and get a "remote restart" done (takes 10-15 minutes before it will come thru). The other, unapproved option is to just unplug the blasted thing for a couple of minutes and then plug it back in.

The ctrl-alt-del shut the whole thing down. So if you were logged off duty, restarted the QC, then drove a couple miles the QC wouldn't start recording driving until AFTER it was completely loaded up. If you timed it right you could move up to 10 miles at highway speed without logging drive time. Or so I've been told.

    nonsense Thanks this.

I run on the JC Penny account out of Columbus Ohio now. They will prob keep the truck on the acct once I get it turned in since the DBL made the shop put a lift gate power kit on the darn thing.

Yep, took a $400 a week pay cut and I'm not one to be lied to every day and stick around and take it like most people.

I may be coming back to SNI here soon. My current local gig kind of sucks. Pay isn't what I wanted, hours suck, and no one seems to know what the hells going on. Turned out I went to work for a poorly managed company that not only doesn't care about doing things legally, but also seems not to know anything about running legal.

Hopefully SNI takes you back and gives you a decent truck.

Why not try for bulk? You might like it even better. And having been a recent driver you would get the quick version of orientation. Don't know what is around Oregon for us but it's big orange, there is usually something.
