An hour after launch, you'll be wishing you took that other day.

This weekend is slow period. Met several drivers the last couple days saying they got nothing. It's like a dead weekend. Very rare for me to sit like I am.

I've relayed and delivered relays that were dropped in the j-ville yard that were for Volkswagen a couple blocks away. Live unloads that always take 2+ hrs to unload

Great. Maybe I should find a TS and prepare to call it a day then. I've got 3 hrs left on the 14 before I get stuck.

Alway, always, always, when going to cons and you don't get a pp on the way or while getting unloaded, find a place to park it. Don't rely on maybe getting something, unless cons allows on site parking. Even then facilities are limited.

Rest area, MO I-55 mile marker 110; parked for the night. Deliver a bunch of steel girders in the morning to a plant a few miles from here; there's another Roehl truck parked next to me with the same type of load, so I'd guess we're both going to the same place. :)

I'm learning that. I hate to just drive around and waste fuel as I waste enough as it is idling, but can't get stuck at some of these cons. I usually get a pp within an hour, but today is definitely different.
