My buddy Jeff lives in ridgecrest here and drives for melton , he doesnt have a problem any getting home more than I do. I would have loved to see L. A . in the 70's like in the old tv show and movies , looked like such a fun place.

Not up for pulling up well established roots. After thirty years with the Government and moving every two years for the first twenty years, had enough of moving. Family is here and thats the only reason we stay.

well last week was all kinds of fun with blowouts and repowers and 2 - 1/2 days of hometime ( which I didnt mind ) and now I am unloading in seattle again after a texas run of course. My 17 year old is with me so its nice to have company even if he sleeps til 2 lol. 1000 miles last week maybe 1200 and I should get 3000 plus this week with this 5 day seattle load. On a side note I ran the last 2 days with a nice guy brand new driver to melton and he is off to a good start , I am sure he will have no problems making it to a experienced flatbedder. Hoping for a Genie load crossing my toes now

    Screw Tulsa!!! lol

meh, its not bad. After getting my load at 6pm after waiting allllllllll day for it (plus the fact that it was supposed to be loaded 2 nights ago lol), then scaling it out at 80860 gross, 43200 on trailer, then having everything fixed, and chaining it down--AGAIN--all in all it was a pretty chill day here lol

All's I gotta do now is wait for my permits to get sent tomorrow--since I didnt get loaded till after all the offices closed. :biggrin_25513:---then i gotta figure out where the heck to put my oversize banner without covering the lights or license plate..lol....

Can anyone give me some advice on Masury? Headed there now. Be there this evening. To drop a loaded trailer. Is there a wash bay? Extra securement? Inspection bay? Thanks!
