My 2011 the windows work fine, the radio is back lit and no problem with the power mirrors.
The wimpy horn was replaced with a Grover real air horn.
My Cummins ISX will turn 2150 in every gear.

Yep,it is a plastic throw away truck but to those of us that started driving when spring ride cabovers were the norm the ProStar is a decent riding truck.
I would rather have a KW or Pete anyday of the week though.....

On my third international now. In nine months. Ac kept breaking. Windows leak. This new one I have the power windows quit working. Sucks for backing when you can't roll down the window. Can't get my hand into the cubby hole cause its to small. Runs decent. Engine could be used as a boat anchor. Don't dare put 43000 on here. It will puke its guts out.

Yeah and you'll be in the shop broke down almost as much as being on the road. Does your company pay hourly break down fees?

I like mine. Have a 2012. Runs good, pulls good. Liked the 9200i before and liked it to.

That whole center console comes off so there is plenty of room to wire the CB.
Grab the plastic cover at the top and pull,it will snap right off and then 2 clips at the bottom....Takes about 2 seconds.
Remember for the power wires for the CB that GREEN is the hot 12 volt wire.

Tryin to type this as I LMAO--WOW--worst POS ever--sucked from day 1--there are some very strong statements! and in many cases from folks that havent spent enuff time in a truck to even afford an opinion yet....
Now lets look at some facts..........
Prostar is a fleet truck--owned by a japenese company and mass produced in Mexico--at a very LOW fleet price--a few creature comforts have been added--but thats about all--it DOES HAVE--power windows and Power Mirrors--which in a hell of a step up from most fleet trucks until recently
As for headlites blinding you in Mirrors? Please tell me WHAT truck you have EVER driven that didn't do this? Especially with todays--way overkill lowbeam on most psngr cars--All a mirrror is is about an enormouse piece of reflecting GLASS--hangin off your door--get used to it--even with my VERY dark tinted windows--headlites can get very annoying--and at least it has a radio---
And truth be told--when IH was still IH--you could get a pretty darn good truck from them--but of course you would have to manually roll down the windows--and loosen the bolts on the mirrors to readjust them----
Now for that--237Mack--put it in a B-Model w/a 6x4--gimme me and a buddy bout an hour with that pump--and Ill take 55k up that hill! LMAO

I would bet that 6x4 would do a lot better than the 5spd. that I had, it was only a spare that I drove when my regular truck " Gmc General " early 80's was in for repair, I would like to hear the whining if they started in the '70 COF 4070 with a 318 13 spd. that I was in. Every weekend had to strap 6-8 one gallon jugs of oil on top of the fuel tanks, all was good until she blew the head gaskets. my 2nd IHC was a '73 old punkin' with a rebuilt 903, has flying high with that truck. And to the young drivers of today these trucks had no power steering and no a/c and no heated mirrors, in winter just carry a scraper and some winter w/washer fluid for the mirrors, I forgot you really had to use wrenches to adjust the mirrors. so quit your whining, you don't have it that bad at all LOL......
