I just got my Iowa permit, Alan says the pole car will be here within 1 1/2 hours, he said it was hard to find one.

 

Done working for the day. Heading to the county fair to watch the tractor pull.

Saw a flatbed (day cab) on the 285 loop that was having a bad day. He had a load of plywood that had the front bundle sticking over 2 ft on the driver side of the trailer. Looks like he did the 8 ft rule on wood. they will probably burn him for that.

 

Meanwhile, 25 miles into the bush around Fort Mac..........

3 guys spotting and one guy driving the zoom boom. Well he backed into a reel, just touched it, but a woman in a white hat saw it so she called another guy in a white hat and then they called two more in white hats to have a safety meeting with the 4 guys in red hats.

Meanwhile, the guy in the blue hat is sitting in his cab with a 2/3 unloaded trailer wondering if he'll get unloaded at all before their next break.

 

It gets better... now the boom operator has get swabbed to see if he was into the cough syrup.
