Enjoying home time. Spent time at the trailer place today and my 55 ton mechanical I was buying is not going to work as they lost the outriggers and want 4k for a new set.

Waiting on a price for a 2005 TK110 hyd, guess I will go the expensive complicated route.

Thoughts on Fontaine or Pitts or Liddell?

Left work early, played 18 holes, made $3, now at home enjoying the delicious pulled pork sandwiches my wife cooked up. Life is good.

 

Parked in front of a bar in Meadow Lake SK. Loading in the morning.

Went in for a beer. I think that was a mistake. One white man and a whole lot of Indians. I got sized up by one guy in particular. Finished my bud and left.

I think I'm gonna find a better place to park.

 

Do they take cash for fuel that far up or do you have to trade pelts or mocassins or something?

 

Mostly beaver pelts or firewater.

If I run out of those I resort to Esso or Husky cards.

 

I've done that a time or 100. There was a time or two I wandered over to the bar across the street for a decent meal and didn't go thru the city until after curfew the next morning.

 

You must not have dealt with Donny then he's about a grumpy old #######.

If y'all get that move and broker some loads I might have to take a look at the board I'd be interested in helping with that one.

Well the main guy that unlded us, never really spoke much. Kinda older early 60's I would say. Short and ave. build.
Grey hair. Funny thing was I get all my safety gear on and he comes out no hard hat no vest or reflective suit. Just hard toe boots.
But was an easy unld. The T force trks. started showing up when we were getting ready to leave..
