At iron mountain, rescued a broken van trailer in gwinn michigan. Door was nearly ripped off and bent to all heck. Only one hinge holding it on, strapped it closed, got most the latches to lock. Was suppose to bring back a empty van to. But guess what no empty vans in iron mountain. Weekend dispatch has no notes I was suppose to do that. So I guess iam here for tge night. supposidly 65's and 61's getting phased out. At least the 65's, the last couple 61's I've pulled we're nice.

Get used to this you'll do it a lot. My opinion fuel dept seldomly changes the routing on the weekday and on the weekend forget about it. Been there, done that. Had a load from Danville KY to Pompano beach Fl my home state. They wanted me from KY drive back roads all the way to Chattanooga. I hopped on 75. Then in FL they wanted me to do 191 miles of the FL turnpike. Needless to say I didn't and know my way around my state. The tolls up north and Midwest you'll just have to add more time to get to where your going especially in the winter. Another topic that's been ran into the ground. Doesn't save fuel to hit multiple towns up shifting downshifting braking etc. Usually over 200 miles of back roads I call. But it will happen often to short cut miles or save tolls. You also can't expect cubical dwellers to understand why it may not be safe, fuel efficient, or less time consuming when all they do is look at the screen and follow protocol.

I have a 61 now that I replaced both glad hand seals as they were hard, cracked and shot, then in Gary they said it needed a wheel pm so that took a couple hours, now 500 miles later one of the wheels is covered in oil....did they screw it up or what? At least it's empty now. Launch (with it) on Wed.
