    There was a Flyin J manager that came on here wanting to know what he could do to improve his store.

    I told him to have him, his employees and their families USE the showers and restrooms and then come back and share the experience.


    He never came back after that...wonder why?

    this thread makes me laugh, most of you would not have made it 30 years ago. its all a matter of perspective. it was common years ago to have the showers in the mens bathroom. drink a cup of concrete and toughen the heck up, some of you are womens lady parts.

    How about 2 different lines from people actually trying to fax papers get their fuel receipts or check in for truck service. I hate sitting there for 30 minutes in line to ask for a fuel receipt like I have all the time on the world.

    Well its not 30 years ago anymore is it? Now were in the future from then, and honestly besides better equipment, wouldn't u say 30 Years ago was better

    Guess TA is going to go broke now because Joseph is not going to spend any money there anymore.

    Here's my TA Jessup, Md experience.

    Got unloaded at the Giant grocery warehouse. Came into the TA at about 5 or 6 in the morning. Found a spot. Slept. Got a load later. Paid the whatever price it was to park. Gave them a $20 gave me back 5 dollars. Came back later to fuel and scale. Took 3 or 4 minutes to get the person to take my information for the scale. Then I fueled. Then when I went in to pay. I seen the super old looking wings and potatoes that were in the little deal. So I asked for them. Wanted the potato wedges as well but they looked like they been there for a few days so I passed. Not even sure how much the wings were. I was hungry. So got back on the road and started to eat the wings. They were Old but Good. Couldn't believe it. Hard as a brick but still good. Can't wait to go back TA ROCKS!!

    Number 1, I'm not Expecting TA to go broke because of me. I'm voicing my opinion. I'm not trash so I don't expect to be treated like trash. I'm also not stupid. There's nothing wrong with expecting service from those paid to provide that service. There's nothing wrong with expecting clean restrooms and showers. Also nothing wrong with expecting fresh food. Now, if you go into a Goasis, which TA built exclusively for 4 wheeled motorists and Campers, the differences are astounding. There's noting wrong with expecting respect, especially when the price for that respect comes at a premium. If you disagree with that statement, you're part of the problem. Not the ones who expect to be treated like humans.

    They stopped caring about truckers when they changed there name from truck stops of america to travel centers of america. Its all about the rvers and four wheelers today. Its not just TA its all of them. Truckers are second class
