Got 15k now.....average since i drove it out of dealer is 8 m/gal.....pulling refer mostly under 30k lbs....with 78k gross got 7.2mpg from nj to laredo,tx...speed open to 75 mph....keep it at 65 regular speed....

As of today very happy overall..expecting fuel to get better after 50k or so.....bought with 13.2 k front susp and 232 WB no back of cab frame steps for the APU space that is just perfect empty for the TK box and mounted side ventilator housing......will have a aluminum box on the left when get a chance....

Btw got a green light twice with no quest asked when 13.2 lbs on steers, got the 16pliers, H rated tires R283....never been so heavy on steers......kept the trl at 18 inches behind the rubber cab extenders....for aero help....

What green light? On weigh station?

R283 Ecopia good for steering, but I doubt it is good for drive in snow: too sleek. ) So its good for southern States or summer time for northern. just my $0.02.

PS. TULY007, how are your further impressions of ultrashift+? :)

U're right deming807 about R283 these have the widest shoulders and one less groove for water and/or snow deflection, and rubber's made for lowest rolling resistance posible(((2nd to michelin xza3)))but i went with theyr cosins on drives M710...had to tried them and see...

About ultra +...bought it because my wife/codriver desire to have, but as i said b4 was promised by eaton that can be custom programed up to a point ofcourse....is alright, no problem at all, moving/backing to a dock as seems it was the case with old ones.....next year eaton is gonna have the box set up to work with the ISX, as they say it'll be better still.......no buyer remorse if i may, about the +

    deming807 Thanks this.

I am a pilot as well as an owner operator. There is a saying in aviation: Never fly the A-model of any airplane. The same thing applies to trucks. NEVER buy a new model the first year it comes out. Let the other guy work out the bugs.
