Lol he goes to the roadmaster in Columbus Ohio all the time. I was like that's cool so I don't have to have my fiancé drive and get me once I'm done. I hate waiting on people to pick me up.

You probably won't mind waiting a few minutes... PTI, finish up your final things, send qc message, gather you stuff, remember you have been out 5 weeks or more. It won't be bad. My ride is usually is waiting on me to finish my things LOL. He doesn't mind though, he is a driver out on disability so he understands.

Yea that is true, my dad drives and it takes him a while to finish his stuff once he leaves the truck and comes home. But yea recruiters never lie lol I've never seen a recruiter that lies. Although I had a marine recruiter tell me the truth about how he felt about the service.

I got lucky with my Army Recruiter... he was recruiting because he had had an accident on the airborne tower at Ft Benning and had had his shoulder reconstructed, so while he convalesced he recruited... he was pretty open and honest.

My Marine Corp recruiter told me just one thing: "If you join the Marines, you're going to wish you were dead. And the only reason you'll stay alive is to come back and kill me for signing you up."
I did feel that way all thru boot camp, but when it was over and I was 'vacationing' in DaNang, I was glad I did get thru boot.

    Corporal_Clegg and KMac Thank this.

I'm in the same boat as I don't have the money for private cdl classes. Both Prime and Stevens seems great companies to start. I like Stevens as they are in Texas and I can go to training in Houston then up to Dallas. Prime is attractive as for the pay. Yes I know I have to pay back the 200 dollars but when you've lost your savings account because wife lost her job now I lost mine and the 600 is better than 350 when doing the driving with the trainer. Prime offers more choices refeefer flatbeds and so forth. I see Prime trucks more around than Stevens South of Houston then I do Stevens but Stevens has a terminal in Houston which I see them on I10....

There is no Stevens terminal in Houston. The only terminal is in Dallas.
