Gonna be at the J in Pontoon Beach one more night. Dial is running way behind. Good part is I was picking up lousy hours the next few days anyway, so now I'll have about 10 per day I can work until Tuesday. Wednesday, I'll be flying out for a week off. I hate to fly...but after 49 days in this truck, a plane will never look so good!

I rolled in at 19:30. Took the 4,500# load (that wasn't Hazmat) then the SDV load was so large my 27' straps couldn't hold it. I had to get a ladder and join strap hooks on top to get them strapped. And the total weight on that was 7,779#. For my last load I went to Santini Export and got 4 big crates and one small Hazmat crate and take them to Manchester Terminal again.

Since I was close to the shop I went and got my check. It was MUCH better than than last weeks check! And Roland told me he has been keeping me out of SDV to do these better paying loads. Any wonder why I would have been horrified if he was gone?

    Nope....:biggrin_25513:
I TOTALLY HATE PEOPLENET! :biggrin_25510: OMG.... what am I going to do?? Will stick with this for some time, I guess... but time will tell... this is MUCH worse than Qualcom... I am using the same amount of on duty and driving time that I used to with paper log... and if I am not careful, may spend even more...:biggrin_25510: It's very user unfriendly, doesn't allow any editing, it's slow, one has to completely stop vehicle to make any changes and wait a second for changes to take effect... it takes much longer to do anything with this "thing"... what I could do with one click with Qualcom, have to do 3 or more with this... :biggrin_25510:
Took about 40 mins today to put trailer in a dock... :biggrin_2552: Place had practically no space in front of dock... no space to maneuver... and because the 5th wheel is almost all the way to the back, it makes the truck a little longer...
I was sooooooooo spoiled in that Walmart account... most shippers had big docking area, all deliveries were drop and hook at WM DCs with lots of room...

Was going to post pic of how much room I had in front of dock today... but gotta go to bed. Leaving at 5 am...
I'm at a service plaza in PA.
