I don't sit much, but you have to be fast on the board. All, the good loads disappear fast.

The load board will show you pick up time and date, del date and time. Loaded miles empty miles what the load is paying per mile and what the load will pay you with your deadhead miles and it also show total rev and how much fuel surcharge. 2k with a paid off truck shouldn't be to hard I bring home 1500+ and that's with me paying sni 1200 a week for truck payment and ins, I actually just brought a truck so ill be able to tell you for sure in a couple weeks.

You can make pretty decent money at the pumpkin. However having them yank loads off of you lie and say the load has been cancelled only to have a company driver come in and get your load while you are still sitting there looking for a load out of the area but nothing is leaving out of the area. is what made me end up going back to DART.

They will say it doesn't happen. Well it happened to me twice back in January. Didn't take a strike 3 to have me say I don't like being lied to and watch them screw you in favor of the company driver. When the choice program worked it was great. But you can't compete when things like that happen.

Choice is not allowed to haul intermodal unless that has changed in the last year..

an an yes the load board tells you everything except the customers name... There is calling into the customer before you choose your freight.

I can also testify to this happening cause it happened to me back in 2009 when I was leased to them. Matter of fact I just deleted all the emails between my then ICA, the Choice head guru, and myself. They pretty much told me to go take a flying leap when I brought up the subject of reassigned loads. After that occurrence I knew things were not headed in the right direction.

I actually applied to Schneider to lease on my truck. Filled out the app. Then they asked me to sign a release form. And then asked for last 3 years of employers (I had already given 10 years). Haven't heard back. Its been about 2 months. It looks like I might just go back to Crete. They aren't perfect, but they beat every pay package I have looked at, including practical mile pay. At least compared to other van companies.
