Jeffersonville, OH. From the time of Dispatch until finally getting loaded, and this including leaving shippers because a roof patch came loose, 10 hours, 40 miles is as far as I got. Well, I have until 0800 on Friday to get to Mesa, and if Command can get a pu and del time changed, will have a reload from Eloy to Cleveland. 3800 miles for 8 days. Not shabby. They were wondering if could pu on Friday and make a Monday del, and 1900 miles in 2.5 days, do not think so.

 

1900 miles in 2.5 days, lol I wish I could pump out miles that fast...

 

pick up a tcall at mira loma trminal going to wilmington ca. got there with plenty of time and pretty tight place to get around and park. load of hay. what a mess in trailer though it smelled good . went to long beach and got the trailer washed out and they had me drop it at mira loma again. put trailer in shop due to rollup door getting stuck while opening. then grabbed a empty intermodel trailer and took it done here to atay mesa terminal and grabbed a mt regular trailer to take back to fontana. only have 2 hrs left and don't know of a t/s between here and fontana, so i'm taking my ten here at pilot in otay mesa and leave at 0430 tomorrow.

 

dl called and said the walmart blitz will start a little late due to a ship not coming in on time due to storms. so they are keeping me local till it starts. sounds like i'll be going from buckeye az to so. calif. when it starts but we'll see lol

Typical bs Monday .
Drop load early , wait an hour , get dispatched ,go 40 miles South and am told load isn't suppose to be ready til 6 am TOMORROW.
CSR / planners get involved , now there's two to draw to ,eventually load gets voided , sent another one 120 miles North , 20 minutes up the road and get message saying they quit loading at 1400 but will be back 1st thing in the morning.
Gee , thanx guys...

 

I would have grabbed it , run 1000 miles then sent a mac 22 saying " my time machine broke down " .

 

thats good I will have to use that. Lol

 

found trailer tire was flat and off the bead during pretrip. only drove from otay mesa terminal to the pilot couple miles away last nite. now back at terminal waiting for the shop to open at 0700

 

Anyone else here have Ron Asker as DL out of the Lewiston terminal? Just called to talk to him today and found out he has left Swift.

Best DL ever, hated to hear it. Talk about stunned. No warning to his drivers at all.

May be time to change terminals for me....or maybe companies.

 

dropped mt at lowes in moreno valley. p/u another intermodule at mira loma going back to otay mesa. then p/u another mt and deliver it to walmart in mira loma. should get it all done tonite
