So, I filled out the online application last night, and jumped the bullet a bit by calling them today, as well. I spoke to someone who asked me a series of questions, and after they did my background check and everything they called me back and asked me if I could go in for an orientation next Monday! I said "YES!" lol :') It was very romantic (really, I'm just kidding) :)

Anyway, so I figured I could let you guys know how it goes. I'm really not worried about the paperwork or the drive test, I'm just a bit nervous about the backing test (even though I've been told I'm just fine at backing, I'm still a bit nervous)

I wanted to thank everyone who posted on here, and in reply to my other post about Interstate. It seems like the perfect fit, and I'm hoping to stay with these folks for a very long time. (Provided I don't back into a tree or anything, really, I'm just kidding again! lol) :')

    BigRigFisher324 Thanks this.

Also try not to back into the Safety Guy, too much paper work.

you are an experienced driver, you will do just fine.

I am an O/Op and just came back to IDC .. A great Company. You are treated with respect and as a professional.

Where is leftlanetruckin? when you need him? I think he would get a laugh out of this, It wasn't IDC it was USA Truck that backed into his truck. But good one anyways! we all wish you luck, Go for it! You will do fine. Just be careful and everything will be just fine.

Welcome aboard. The backing test is easy, just a sighted side around a corner into a set of cones/barrels. Now on the road test.... Tester wanted me to get off 512 at Portland ave, I misheard and thought he said Pacific ave... oops. You'll like the grill downstairs for lunch, good food.
