Paloma Please tell us what we need to know, We don't mean to make anyone mad about what we think we know! This is just what we are seeing! If you can tell us what you think or know about IDC then we all would know what you know. So just Simmer down a bit.

I mentioned over and over on different threads about IDC O/Op program. I was talking about the moron that said crap about IDC. Obviosly someone that doesnt work for IDC. And idiots that post B.S. On here about a company they know nothing about need to be spotted so others dont believe their B.S.

Wow, company man. Like I kicked your dog or something. Just looks like another mega to me so they have a choice program like SNI.

I'm not a " company man" .. I am an Owner/Op and make #### good coin with IDC. All big carriers have their problems, but I have an easy time here at IDC.

I'm all for mega carriers or any carrier doing the percentage thing. I didn't know they did that. Seems like more and more are trying it out. Works out great for o/o who can work in a percentage system, more money, less miles always good.

What many don't know is Interstate was bought out 3 years ago by a company called Saltchuck.

they have totally restructured the company. They started this new Lease To program last year. I have weeks of settlements in my truck to prove to those I run into on the road, the money you can make here. Is it the best? Define the best.

For me, the percentage and home time when and for how long I want, without question is just Awesome.

That's always a big plus in any lease. Too #### many of these companies practically force dispatch contractors treating them no different than company drivers. The last company I was leased to required 2 weeks notice for a week off from contractors. And pressure was on to accept your Monday load on Friday's making for a thin weekend. You'd starve if you insisted on real weekends every week. And 1 day weekends week after week get old fast.

Agreed and many of those companies are loosing their O/Ops.

At IDC you are NOT forced dispatch. Of course, sometimes ya take what ya can to get out of a bad area to get to a good area. Knowing how freight runs is a big plus.

I generally stay out 1 week (70 HOS) and go home 3-5 days. No one ever questions it. Towards the end of my "work week" I ask for a load going to my home area (terminal) where I park my big truck and car. I let them know what day and time I am available to get back on the road.

Getting home and staying home for the amount of days that I want is very important to me. And at IDChome time is no issue. That and good pay keeps O/Ops here. Unfortunately, many out there don't know Interstate (IDC) is a different company now.
