Sounds similar to my last few weeks. Started out with a couple of nice long ones, then about 10 days of one-day loads. I was exhausted by the time I got home. Back at it early Sunday morning.

So, if any of you guys end up in a new Cascadia and have a radio that's bigger than a Cobra 29...

3M Dual-Lock. Same stuff that holds EZPass tags on. There's enough of it there to hold a good 35lbs... it's bloody solid, and I'm happy.

Great idea, but...looking online, that stuff is crazy expensive, and I couldn't find it on Walmart's, or even Home Depot's, website. Where can you get it, and can you buy it in less than the bulk packaging that costs upwards of $100 (or more)???

Walmart and Offce Depot have it in packages of four 1x3" strips, at Walmart they will be back by the paint where all the industrial/painter's/mounting tapes are. 2.88 per pack at Walmart, can't remember the price at Office Depot. The packages look like this: http://www.essentialhardware.com/product_detail.php?pid=201362&gclid=CPWv8NaP7LoCFVFk7Aody00AnQ

Thanks guys. I have a General Lee that, as you all know, doesn't always fit in the space provided in these newer trucks. I don't want to be drilling into dashboards, so the product is a great alternative!

All I see is people mainly getting new Freightliners. However, I've also seen a couple of other drivers get almost new Prostars, but with the Maxforce engine. I drove a 2013 Prostar with a Maxforce engine in it at the previous company I was with for almost a year before hopping over to Crete, and never had any problems.

I have an old Prostar with an old Cummins engine. It currently has over 420,000 miles on it and drinks a gallon of oil every 6 or 7 days, which the shop says is normal somehow. The bunk heater has still never worked since I got this truck, even though I put it in the shop specifically for that about a month ago. Last week I got a message from the Wilmer team because my idle percentage had climbed back up to 16.7 percent, but that's because I idle the truck in the morning to warm up. Oh well. Anyway, I'd love a new Prostar with any kind of engine, as I hate freightliners. In fact, if all they have is Freightliners when it is time for a new one, I'll request another old Prostar, as all my stuff is geared specifically for Prostars and would not work in a Freightliner.
