Are there any small trucking outfits in this small town? If so, perhaps they may have an eastbound load.
JustPj Thanks this. -

Rosa Parks? pulease
We have a former lawyer working for her 2nd Mega in as many months refusing to get off a trainer's truck at a truck stop (insisting instead to be driven --in an 80' combination vehicle in the middle of nowhere-- to a motel).
We have allegations of log falsification from someone complaining about having her logs updated from SB to OFF while she went inside a truck stop. Same person alleges to have not been allowed a 30-min break and to have driven 9 hours (in a elog truck).
Other posts from this former lawyer have encouraged another driver to seek an attorney and sue his company for putting him on local work while dealing with medical issues requiring frequent office visits (which seems to be the very definition of 'reasonable accommodation' in my book).
Then you have one poster, known for hating mega carriers and who also seems to live an unfulfilled life if he is not rallying against something, beating the war drums after hearing half a story. And most of you are eating it up...
I'm sorry, I'm sure many elements of the story are true, but outside of fairy tales and the white-house press room, bad guys are never pure examples of evil incarnate. And since this ex-lawyer has repeatedly mentioned bringing a civil suit, you wont be able to hear the other side until the conclusion of legal hostilities. But the evidence suggests that there is plenty of blame to go around.tinytim, BuckeyeCowboy63, Captain Call and 3 others Thank this. -
I agree double yellow...not defending navajo and what they did but lets all step back catch our breath and get her home first....then start talking about how to fix it. Also, for someone needing a ride and 25 offers being made to pay for her a way and she wont accept it??? Would rather ask for a ride on craigslist which is a whole lot safer (hint the sarcasam). I mean she has too much pride to take money but not a ride from a complete stranger??? Something still not adding up...I would take the money get a taxi to rental car place fet the rental car and go home and then find another job and pay everyone back, but calling news directors and a nationwide strike and she being rosa parks...come on....calm down people and relax.
The Challenger, Captain Call, joseph1135 and 2 others Thank this. -
The Struggle Will Continue...... There is 2 motives involved in getting tossed out in a remote area/adverse weather conditions. 1) Inhumane 2) Criminal
Lux Prometheus Thanks this. -
I wanted to say something but didnt want to get flamed...... Thank you. But, now that the can of worms is open, there have been posts for days about this from the op. not doubting that navajo would do this, but some things aren't adding up.
BuckeyeCowboy63, double yellow and Captain Call Thank this. -
