    I still use quite a bit of slang.
    42 or I understand
    bird dog or radar detector
    big hole or high gear
    Walkin the dog and kickin the cat
    I wonder how many have heard put your boots on? and what it means

    No but about every grain wagon or cow truck I have ever run with use it. Means switch to channel 8 on low side

    Interesting fun stuff. Most I've heard. Just getting back into it after doing local hauling of gasoline.
    always curious when a " desperado" was mentioned over the radio but could never figure
    any ideas??

    Desperado : Usually a truck driver that has been pulled over by more than one bear at the same time.

    A few more, Diesel Bear = DOT Cop, She Bear = Female cop, Barley Pop=Beer, Dirty side=East coast, Shaky side= West coast

    It probably all went by the wayside when all the trucks became governed below the speed limit - lets face it the CB was used to circumvent speeding tickets.
