You only have to tip if you have a waitress. That's about once a month for me. Even then, tbone? Try a burger or something and you won't be dropping $20. When you're at home do you have tbone every night?

We do have an inverter which helps... Mostly for the fridge (Walmart dorm size)... We use crock pot and the Burton Oven (RoadPro Lunch Box)... Also fix salads, sandwiches, fresh fruit. We have a Keurig on board as well. Not so much for everyday coffee, but available if we need it and for hot water for oatmeal. If we did Top Ramen we could use it for that too. We also have a microwave, George Forman Grill and propane BBQ, but really don't use those much...

Subway $5 foot long. Split in half for lunch and dinner. That's how you eat cheap on the road.

I assure you eating steak regularly is not healthy.

On the subway thing, I'll eat a little debbie dinner before I eat at subway. It only took me a couple months out here to despise them from a combination of over consumption and the fact that I was walled in to that option at a lot of truck stops. It doesn't help that back home we have Publix which makes phenomenal subs and (for subs containing beef) charges less. After you have a publix sub subway is like it's ugly cousin.

    Arkansas Frost Thanks this.
