Thanks a lot. That's pretty much what I've found out from their website and from talking to the program director at their location in Canonsburg, PA. It's good to hear it coming from someone that actually went through the program though.

Do they have pretty recent trucks to practice on?

I believe each school has some different trucks, here they had two, maybe more now, I think they were both ten speed freigthliners, standard shift. You will want to learn on a standard shift, if it's available. Driving an automatic is a little easier as you don't need to shift.

Yeah, of course. Like I said on another part of the forum a few days ago, I have no interest in ever driving an automatic. Well, maybe when I'm old and decrepit but we'll see when I get there. I still got a while. Haha.

I would like some feed back to Sage's Muncie , Indiana
CDL program. How were the instructors? Were they patient or pushy? How many hours of actual driving time is there and is it really one on one. How old are the trucks?

    Appreciate the help

I haven't actually gone yet, but they guarantee at least 40 hours of driving time one-on-one with an instructor.
