I worked for them in 2005 and what I experienced is what I'm saying...you can say what you want to say, but I know what I saw find what I experienced.

My only knowledge mf TMC is they told my uncle to get a twic card, and he had to pay for it. He asked TMC to pay for it and they declined and told him to park the truck when he refused to pay for it.

Calm down brother trucker,,,never said you didn't see what you saw, just said it was hard to believe. Because I said that, you now have told me when you saw this, 2005... that was 6 years before I worked there and I am sure some things were different than they were in 2011 or now, for that matter. I can see stuff like you said happening in 2005, just not when I was there in 2011. peace out

    Hello drvrtech77,
When did you work at TMC? When I started in 2007 they had been hiring college grads for Fleet Managers and some of those guys were the pits, but I lucked out with a Fleet Manager that had been a driver, so I had no problems. I heard a while back a couple of the boat haulers out of Pharr manged to get some get some "hitchhikers" under the boat covers. Some illegals made it to Austin and Houston before they bailed out of the boats.
    Ooopps!
Every company has people in trucks and the office that take a while to weed out. Some last longer than others.

I'm just stating my experience...now my belief is the son was to blame for a lot of the problems at that time and from what I've heard whether or not it's true or not remains to be seen was Harold got tired of the problems under his watch like all the constant wrecks they were having on a daily basis...whether or not things changed I don't know but my experience was not a good one.

    Hello drvrtech77,
You are correct. While his son, Tim, was in charge there were lots of issues and when the economy crashed in 2008, Mr. Annett relieved Tim of his duties and took the reins back. LOTS of stuff changed since then and last October Mr. Annett announced that TMC was going to be an employee owned company and he ordered 1500 new Peterbilt 579's. Yes, they all still go 62 miles per hour........;-(

TenFortyfive, sorry to get you so all riled up, but you misquote things I said and are going overboard in trying to defend what I identified as a lazy, good-for-nothing person who had an instructor's job, but acted like he was owed a paycheck, just for arriving at work. I never said ALL the instructors were bad, just the one my post refers to. Why are you getting so upset? Are you Dave? Or his buddy?

A person is not disqualified from sharing his experience at a trucking co. just because he didn't make it a career there. You seem so affected by a negative post about you and your company, I wonder if you are having nightmares over this. Are you sure you're not that instructor? Or, are you one of Mr. Annette's loyal minions? Hey, I think I have a pretty good case of calling your boss a thief. Why did you try to justify his decision to ripoff all the truckers that hauled loads for his other company so he could save TMC jobs? You obviously kept your job at the expense of so many other truckers that hauled his loads and were cheated out of their money. He didn't even make an attempt to pay us all back. Maybe that $1M of lawncare you refer to could have been used to pay us off. Priorities! You remind me of these whiners who never address the issues, but try to defame people who have facts, when you can't argue them with truth. Are you sure you don't work for MSNBC or something?

So what's the deal with the TMC trucks's in the way of the chicken haulers when we need to get a washout and its snowing or raining outside and those guys are getting tractor and trailer washed. That guy and his drivers must have money to burn, because b4 they get to the interstate the truck is going to be filthy again.

    baha Thanks this.
