I read an article in the USA Today a few weeks ago that claims by the year 2050 all vehicles both private and commercial will be driverless. Hard to think this job will go by the wayside like black smithing.

I think that before trucks and airplanes are automated, that freight trains will be "unmanned". With dedicated tracks and no other traffic concerns, that would be my first choice to automating an existing carrier.....That being said, I don't think it will happen until lobby groups and government aren't so "cozy".

the same way we can fly a missile through a window a thousand miles away. this tech will trickle down.

I will start worrying when they mass produce them and they can hook up a set and break em up and put the pups in the doors.
