I would suggest get some experience with flatbed,(Melton, TMC, Roehl, Maverick, all good Companies) then look for the 20-50 truck outfit. You will be much happier and you WILL make more money. At least the guys I work with do. 2013 the Company drivers made $62-73,000. Earned every dime.

kubball,
I actually just got hired on there. i'll start in a couple weeks. got any tips for me? I'm going thru all my trucking gear trying to see what I need to get (haven't been OTR since 2011). I'd like to get a fridge or something of that nature, but I think I'll wait til I get my truck to ensure it will fit etc. less time in the truck stop makes for bigger paychecks -

Im also a newbie, maverick and system trans are my top 2. Any suggestions?
