Six months will get you to the second tier of the starting companies. Still bottom feeders but with some since of a future. Chinatown is the best source for companies. PM him. I personally feel that Knight is one of the best almost bottom feeders. Lots of Volvo's and they ride the nicest.
Tankers are making lots of money right now. Those Orange trucks are just to ugly for me to be seen in. Quality Carriers requires 1 year and it is Union. If you are lucky enough to get a Union job do. They are going away fast.

6 months experience and you were fired. You really don't have a good selection. Just put in a bunch of apps and see who call you. I would try JBS Carriers I have been here almost 4 years now, and a few guys who started as students hung around awhile as well. It's not perfect, but if you want to keep rolling and you don't need somebody to hold your hand every 5 minutes then. It's not a bad place to be. But again Not sure if they will be cool with you being fired either. But stop wasting your time here and put out some apps. Then once you get some people calling you back then ask us what we have heard about them. Good day sir.

I should be dead. I nearly lost my life 6 times in a two year period some years back. I no longer have a life. As far as I'm concerned my life belongs to God. Which is why I joined "Jesus Christ Superstar Trucking Company."
Imagine my surprise when JCSTC turned out to be a fraud. I'm older. Therefore, I'm realistic and certainly patient. If you're a business and you screw me, well, that's my fault for not doing my research. (And I think this thread is proof).
On the other hand, if you shaft me in the name of Jesus, I'm sorry - I get pissed. I confronted the hypocrites and wound up getting crucified. Fine - I heartily accept that. Learned my lesson - (It's not just recruiters that lie) - and am moving on.
The only reason why people are "victims" is because they let themselves be. As you said in your own way, there's no substitute for experience. I'm ready to do whatever's necessary.

Some questions. Who is Jesus Christ Superstar Trucking? PTL? I love the play but the movie was too strange.
One of the 10 commandments is to no take the lord's name in vain. I believe those who claim to be lead by the Lord and don't follow his teaching are in violation of that.
My neighbor is from Harrison. My family is from down Highway 7, just across from Russellville in God's Country of Dardanelle, Yell County.
I have to many of my folks who went to Hardin College. -
Op, if you can lift 60 pounds a couple times a day if needed, especially since you have goals of being an oo. It's a lot easier to make money pulling open deck vs dry van and reefer. Maverick and tmc are good starter flatbed companies. You should look into them.
