It's not the mega company's fault that they treat you like scum. 94% of mega company's borrowed money from wall street. And by law wall street is first priority the CEO is next in line then office employee, equipment and the 1000's of drivers are like at the bottom.

I really don't get your posting. How does investment capital determine how one is treated?
And I hold every investment license available.

No company on this planet exist as a living breathing object. It is simply a piece of paper. The mega companies are incorporated but they are made up of people. If a company owns one truck and employs one driver does it make enough to pay a CEO? A dispatcher? A mechanical department? Warehouse folks? No. Size by itself is not a bad thing.

Going to an Investment Bank (which is what I am guessing you are referring to as Wall Street) lets people who have ideas share the risk with others. Yes they share the profits also. As a trucker we pick up products from companies and deliver them to other companies. Almost all of those companies got at least some of their capital from an investment bank at one point or another. Apple, Microsoft, Ford Motor Company, Boeing, all companies borrow money. I am sure you carry a credit card. That credit card is backed by an investment bank somewhere.

The only reason anyone in this nation is treated like scum is that that person allows themselves to be so treated. The power to govern comes from the consent of the governed. If your company treats you like scum, pull the truck into the nearest rest area and take a break. Then organize a union. Then go on strike. Then demand work rules. Then demand a certain level of respect. You might actually make the world a better place.

Or you can just blame "Wall Street". I am not sure how effect of a plan that is but good luck to you.

Old Dominion and Linde are publicly traded companies too. Your argument is invalid.

Second that! I'm at the former, and couldn't be happier.

Your choice who you work for - nobody forces you to work at a mega.

    TruckDuo Thanks this.
