JCT pays for trailer washouts. We have accounts at Blue Beacons and a few other places. If you have to pay, you can either get an EFS check or get reimbursed when you turn in your receipt. I washout a trailer maybe every third load on average. My leaf blower does a good job of cleaning the trailer enough for most shippers. The worst loads are chilled beef. You'll have to get a washout after those trips every time. As for time spent? Once every week or two I have to queue at a washout. Once in there it takes 5 minutes.

Well, I made it to Albuquerque on time, and now I have a preplan...I get a 604 mile deadhead to Ponca City, OK to pick up tomorrow at 15:00, then I have until 15:00 on the 11th to get it to Portland, OR.So that's an additional 2435 miles to close out my week. Sweet! Y'all be safe out there...seems like Mother Nature is in an irritable mood.

Loves, Pilot/FJ mostly have that biogarbage. B10 and b15 are fuel killers. Our MPG drops significantly if we use biopoop. It is on the order of .75 to 1.15mpg, so we wont use it. Most Petro/TA's have real fuel and we have seen a marked increase if we dont used that biocrap. Now you may not care, but we have seen the real world results.

Loves only sells biocrap fuel. if i see a green sticker, i go to another fuel stop.

But my question was not answered. What is the best fuel strategy?

Best fuel strategy is watch your right foot. Fuel mileage is linked to your right foot. Every 1 mph over 55 you lose .1 mpg. The type of fuel only matters a little. I find it hard to believe that your losing a full mpg using bio fuel. What truck are you running? Year? Model? Motor?

Morning everyone..... Got bored sitting in Houston unloading and figured I would give an update since a lot of people like that sort of thing. So here goes.

Since starting my run last Thurs I have ran a total of 3,759 paid miles so far( and that's only in 2 trips) been avg roughly 6.9 mpg (no Scanguage) Keeping an eye out for cheaper fuel to try and keep that cost down. Figured right now I am in the neighborhood of .38 cpm after everything has been taken out. So hopefully this place will be quick and I can get another load quickly and continue running.
Later on every one and be careful out on those roads.
