Thanks, that was what I also meant to say, but mostly the NW since they have the chain law requirements. I think that it is about time for me to search for cables again. I was looking one day, and I believe that they are still legal.

I hate when I spill a drink just as I am about to post a reply.
Oh well. Thinks are wet now.

And I forgot what I was going to reply to.
It was going to be so profound.

I'll just go back to cooking dinner.

And I will bet that it had something to do either about me or something that I said. Sorry you spilled your drink (no I am not)

On a side note, sitting at this truck stop and there was at least 20 open spaces and what do I see, a Swift company b/t pull in, and park right on the curb at the entrance. The total essence of LAZINESS, and people wonder why we have such a great reputation.

There was a Swifty running on the interstate today with his trailer wheels locked up. He was running about 35 MPH, no radio evidently, the CB was alive with anti-Swift chatter lol.

My god? U mean trailer wheels NOT turning? As in straining the engine strongly to get to that 35mpgs? As in on pavement or icy road? As in...my god.....what was he thinking?

I could never figure out how drivers can drag trailer tires long enough to blow them out without noticing how much extra power they are using getting up to speed and keeping that speed.

I once had a brake dragging by just a little bit. I noticed it right away and pulled off at the next truck stop to check it.
Locked wheels dragging you down would be a lot worse.

We have a bad reputation because we simply don't care.

hopefully not since driving and being sick just plain sucks, I got lucky and bypassed sickness the last couple times going home, seems each week its a different family member sick, I take my vitamins and stuff everyday trying to keep my immune system up.

So today sucked only the one little load with 30 miles loaded 160 mt, tomorrow got a preplan going to the same place but making 2 pickups in Cerritos, 27 loaded and 25 mt which is pretty far off, im 40 miles away from the pu right now sitting in Mira Loma, hunted for an mt but couldnt find one so bobtailed to a spot and shut down for the night, I saw a few wmt trailers in the back when I went for a walk so I will grab one of those in the morning before heading out since im running a walmart load anyway.

I went to the shop to get some oil and was directed to 2 different guys, got to the 2nd guy and asked him if he was the one to get oil from but he told me he was too busy and I had to come back another time, yeah he was just so busy standing there he couldnt take 30 seconds to give me some oil, I hate this Mira Loma shop, its a hassle to do anything.

So far I feel I would of been better off taking the weekend off at home and waiting for the rite aid account. doing live loads and hardly any miles just isnt worth all this time in my opinion.

Yes, not turning. The roads are icy/snowy here. I still have a couple hours left til the 10 hour breaks is done, and traffic is still parked on the interstate for as far as the eye can see. Google news reporting a pileup in SW Washington, CB chatter speculates traffic will be backed up all the way deep into California on the 5
