got here at the final and alot of trucks here. security said it mite be a few hrs to get thru. also have a preplan p/u here and delivering in city of industry ca. no appt time for delivery

 

At the Ute Mountain Travel Center in Towoac, CO. Made it here from Anthony, TX, Salt Lake tomorrow for a Monday morning delivery. Good weather so far, looks like mostly rain tomorrow and Monday in SLC.

 

tried leaving the terminal this morning with a wmt trailer and security started to give me hell telling me I cant have it and have to turn around, I told them im working walmart and I was told I could have it and its already dispatched on me and im going to Irwindale with it, she gets on the phone and a couple minutes later "you should of told me your going to Irwindale" then lifted the arm, sigh sometimes I want to slap someone lol...

Got to the place in Cerritos to pick up, found that the shipper and 2 stops were all in one warehouse and it was tight docks but the security told dispatch to give me the dock right in front of the gate so I could use the street to get in. 2 loads were supposed to be in that dock and then 1 on the other side of the warehouse which is even tighter, got to talking with the owner who came up to a dock worker and I just to chat, when it came time for the 3rd load the security asked me if I wanted to move docks or have them bring me the freight, I said bring it if possible, then another guard came and told me to move docks, as I was pulling out another guard yelled at me and said the owner said to put me back and then the owner came up to my door and said its easier for his workers to bring the stuff to me instead of me spending a hour getting into the other dock. I guess it paid off getting to know the boss, it took them 5 hours to finally have me all loaded and when I pulled from the dock the trailer was only half full, I was like wtf....

Got to the Irwindale dc and dropped my load, the guy from walmart called me and asked if I could grab a wmt mt and take it back to mira loma and he would dh me there so I said sure, found one and got to security and the guard started yelling at me telling me I cant have the wmt trailers, I said I was told to grab one and gave the name, he continues to yell at me and tell me to go turn around and take it back in, while leaving I called up the guy and told him whats going on and he said bull keep going and he will take care of it so I did not turn around and just kept going.

Now stopped at the TA in Ontario, I went and got me a nice dinner and with tip spent $17 so only need to spend $3 more to get the free parking, first I went to the petro but they didnt have crap so I left and came here. Also getting a free day of wifi with points I didnt realize I had on my card. Was told Walmart is off tomorrow and I will be back working monday so I guess I will just relax and catch up on movies, will probably head into Fontana tomorrow to avoid paying for parking again.

 

Here still at receiver in Southaven. Never again. Third time here to stop and third time no empty. Now waiting over 2 hours for trailer solution and no word. Have a 2200 pu. Right now do not care . Mac22 will not work since not disp. What a very long day from around Prescott, ar to Memphis. At least 4 backup.

 

when i got here at final i had 7 hrs on my clock. when i finally got unloaded. i had 1 hr left. went over to the shipping side after getting reweighed and got loaded and had 10 minutes to go. made it to the dirt lo next to railroad down the street. bio papel here in prewitt wont let you do 10 there.

 

Geezus ... I thought you said you were a chef ... How can you even use the words TA and "nice" dinner in the same sentence? Especially that TA.

I'll be there tomorrow afternoon, for a Monday delivery in Ontario.

 

I like the basic stuff too, I had the fish tacos and left that buffet alone, not too often I find fish tacos screwed up. The buffet was pretty much southern crap like fried chicken and stuff. I wanted a steak but figured I wouldnt get a steak to my standards here, would like to go find one but no idea where I can go and park a truck.

 

Awoke this morning with the QC going off, finally a trailer solution. Only took 11 hours. On my way to get my trailer, get a msg, just proceed to customer, preloaded, and then another message, computer takes the load off me for some reason and the planner can not get it back on me. Memphis, go figure. Then went another pplan, pu a roll paper load ont he yard to Waxahatchie. Well, just lost a 1100 mile load for Monday night and get a 480 mile load for Monday. On my way, regen lite comes on, blue smoke just blowing out of the exhaust, get into the TA in Earle and do a forced regen. Three hours later, it is still trying to do a regen. Rd svc, take load back to terminal, take truck to KW in morning. Having some issues again. Go figure. Could be a filter again, possible water temp, but temp was 200-210 so really to not think that it is the reason. Just love coming to Memphis.
