I think I would have better odds playing the shell game or 3-card Monty on the streets of NYC than reconciling my payroll statement.

Maybe you could at least write it off on the taxes?

The charge we've seen is for fueling, but we lease... Not sure (and doubt) the would charge company drivers to fuel... At least I hope not!!

Suggestion.. Call and KEEP calling!! Central, Swift matters not... Keep calling until you get answers!

I put all our info into QuickBooks... I call and ask until I understand it completely!! We HAVE to!! Otherwise small charges happen, and expenses aren't reimbursed... Nothing intentional, but oopses happen. If you don't look and understand, you will be paying THEM. If you want to PM me with questions, I'll try to help... TRY being the operative word there... LOL! I'm still learning the new format myself.

Klingon called O/O Dept... They said we weren't the first to notice that... LOL... They said 'we're working on that $0.34 when we get refer fuel...

When we called Swift's F&P department, that's what they said...

Now the question is... Knowing about the added charge (and knowing how petty, and stingy some drivers can be) how many drivers will take the extra effort to fuel a refer before dropping if it's not mandatory by the receiver??

and knowing how petty, and stingy some drivers can be :yes2557:Its called SURVIVING ( meaning how office staff do not see that drivers do not like spend $ on service charges when its the company that should be footing the bill ) and yes there will be the downside of this for the company as posted below things will get skipped over.

In part... But not refilling a refer because of a $0.34 charge... I can see that happening. So it will land on the next driver... We already deal with that with lights and tires and license plates!! Such as the trailer we picked up on Saturday... OBVIOUS that there has been no plate for a while... Road grime, rust etc... We head toward GA from CA, NO ONE could help us over the weekend... So we finally get help and we will be replacing it on our trip from GA to CO by picking up the new plate in Denver... If the previous drivers... Yes drivers in the plural... Would have taken care of it, it sure would have been nice! The attitude right now with some drivers (hence the petty part) is if the company doesn't care about us, why should I care... That's not surviving...

You know it's a fact most companies don't really care about their drivers, but I can now say by first-hand experience that not only does Swift not care, they don't even pretend to. So, I've got to give 'em credit for not being two-faced about it.
