Why can't we come together and create a comany that works for the driver?

I think we all would agree that the majority of companies, out their don't work for the drivers. I grew up on a farm and had my own farm, so when I say I know why people don't come together I get it... But in being independent we have given up our independence. The corporate machine as taken over our country. But in taking over our country it has for gotten about the people and made us just a number. So at some point and time in our history, they realize that people were independent and used it against us. So the reality of our world today is unless you have big numbers it makes it hard to compete in most any industry.

So what is the answer to all these problems? Well it takes thinking out side the box, it takes what makes this county so great. The ability to adapted, and change.
So what ideas do you all have? I am sure that we all have a few, that would make things better. The one thing we all have is our self's and those trucks can't drive them self's yet. How about we take back America one trucker at a time... How's that for a start?

COME ON PEOPLE DREAM AGAIN THINK AGAIN.

Well those of you who can dream and think out side the box lets talk.. The rest of you by all means tell why we shouldn't change and just let thing stay like they are.

Well Adam you make some good points but like everything else their has to be rules, or you are right people would just sit at home. But its through talking like this that we can come together and find the answers to those problems you brought to the table. People have to have something personally in vested in order for anything to work. It might be just as simple as everyone putting so much money in a peace to working to provide for your family.
I will agree we are our own worst enemies.

What if I have a business plan that would, make everyone a lot more money. What if in this business plan it covers most all of your worries.
An example would be like my personal farm. I didn't get paid until the bills are paid that is a pretty simple concept I know but into days companies People are paid some times first before the bills are paid and that creates a problem.
Answer me this what are investors? How do they get paid? Well in short from the profits that are made from the workers doing the work. So why don't the workers come together and put that money in their pocket instead of the investors and a company who just wants more of them...

I can't predict what is to come but this much I know things don't look good if they stay like they are. I am not waiting for Uncle Sam to bale me out. I am pretty sure he will not have much for me when I get older. So all I know to do is try to go back to the way I grew up and that is a community of people coming together and us take care of one another.
