Wondering if there are any regional or OTR companies that still run hoods that hire drivers from Northern California and have 2 years OTR exp. Probably sounds crazy but would love the opportunity to run a large car.
Any hoods left?

Probably. But the problem is, you're in California.
Many companies don't buy maps with California in them anymore. Too many restrictions to run there. -
Surprised they haven't outlawed hoods yet, seeing as they just burn way more fuel because of the shape of that nose ... especially at a whopping 55 mph ... Lol ...

You been to Detroit? There's 'hoods all over the place. Oh wait... wrong hood.
S M D Thanks this. -
I really miss my old peter car. My last truck I bought was a '00 379 peterbilt with the long ext hood. Nice smooth ride. Rode like a cadillac. I put over 1 million miles on that truck b4 I sold it. Best #### truck I ever had.

I would've liked to have had the work station when I ran a Volvo. But I had a midroof with a single bunk.
There's a difference between a "big truck" and a "large car", and it's not about hood length. -
Does Western Distributing hire out of Ca?
-
Western Distributing requires 3 years experience to get on with them. Company I am with, Valley Transportation out of Grand Meadow, MN has lots of hoods, and some new 386's also, they should still be hiring from Cali, since we go out there a lot. Stepdeck/RGN freight.
Rugerfan Thanks this.
