Your only a Texan if you run the speedlimit on the shoulder while faster trucks pass. Weirdest thing I've seen in a while.

Shoulder? You mean the slow lane? The one on the far right, next to the dirt/guide rail...right? (it's not guarding anything...it's guiding you along the slow lane...lol)

    91B20H8 Thanks this.

Yup, even a school bus did it thinking I would pass, it crossed my mind then I just dropped way back till the driver came back to the road and I held that distance, it just didn't feel right. I was prolly a good 150 yards behind him when he started getting over.

Sounds about right...also, some of those left shoulders are really wide, and I have seen them used as 'faster than everyone else' lanes. Especially in towns...I miss Texas!

You mean the Texas deceleration lane? That's what the lane is for, slowing down before you fly through the ditch to the service road at about 45 MPH. Ain't no need for on and off ramps in Texas.

    mickimause and 91B20H8 Thank this.

Holy cow, you are all like a bunch of Dead Heads who crash on the couch in June and are still there in November. Make sure you all empty the ash trays, and put the empties in recycling...some of us have to work for a living.

I'll buy the pizza when we meet up but the laughter and frivolity are going to have to go on hiatus as I attempt to do that voodoo that you all do so well.
Last one to leave be sure to lock up...
