The hours question has so many variables. I heard one time that the plan is that a planner would like all drivers to run 10-11 and sleep (break) for only 10 and go again. That is what I do and I tell you the customers and maintenance and weather and anything else will keep you from running out. Oh I forgot planners will keep you from running out when you get a 500 mile load for weekend. Oh flatbed, a lot of customers don't want the delivery on weekend that maybe why you get the run out and reset weekend.

 

The Extended cdl license to include being able to go into Canada instead of passport... extended is cheaper from what I have heard but if they pay ya extra heck why not go for it???

 

I was told you get that thru the dept of licensing...the card i mean. I was told it was alot cheaper that the passport and as long as you are traveling by sea or land your are good to go!

Hey everyone....curious about Roehl benefits. How's the insurance? Prices, etc. I use the VA...for me the VA hasn't been bad at all...so not sure if I should even bother with Roehl's insurance


Any thoughts appreciated

 

There was a thread on here a while ago on their dental and medical. The medical, you are responsible for your deductible before you it starts covering anything, but the cost isn't bad. I think go blue made the threads. The dental is good though. If you are happy with what you have, I'd keep it
