Had my 4 wheeler license for 6 months now,0 "REAL" work history at the age of 25.

I know I have like a 5% chance of getting hired, but is there any big guys who will just take the bottom of the barrel 'no matter what'? I remember reading on here about some christian outfit that was supposedly hiring a bunch of felons and what not but I forget their name

Whats on your record that prevents companies from hiring you?I ask because you said%5 chance and mentioned felons. It really depends on what the felony is and depends on the company. Some are more lenient then others.

There's companies that will hire you if you completed a CDL school. If you have a shakey background, most CDL schools will want maybe 2 or 3 pre-hires before classes start. You can get the pre-hires by submitting applications with an approximate graduation date.

The "Christian outfit" that you're referring to is Covenant. Be ready to team if they hire ya. I see you're from N E Pa. Prime has a terminal in Pittston, Pa and they also take newbies.

The DOT requires ten years of past employment history. If you have no history, then all you need is proof you never worked for any trucking companies and were unemployed. What you need is some documentation showing what you have been doing (school or college records). You could also sign an affidative, have it witnessed and notorized by a certified registered Notory Public. Companies are required to file some form of legal document that acknowledges you never drove a truck. Many big fleets will pay for your cost of obtaining a CDL when you agree to work for them.

If you are 25 with no work history you can go to school and be a nurse and get a job. (60k a year your first year on thejob +) home every day
If you are 25 with no work history you can go to school to be a welder and get a job. (40k + a year) home every day
If you are 25 with no work history you can go to school to be a chef and get a job. (40k+ a year) home every day
If you are 25 with no work history you can go to school to be a HVAC technician and get a job. (50k+ a year) home every

If you are 25 with no work history you CAN NOT go to school, get your cdl license and get a job. First you must go work at McDonalds or the local 7-11 for 10 years to build up your work history. Then after 10 years of working at Taco Bell, or McDonalds only THEN can you be a truck drivers. Apply again in 10 years. And then you can make 25 to 30k a year your first year truck driving for working 70+ hours a week and being home MAYBE three days a month. Have fun.
