I hope I am not confusing. Running out of hours is not usual. I stay out at least 2 weeks and try for over 3 weeks. Roehl is not making me go home that is my choice of course. I stayed out 44 days last time. Roehl would have had me out longer but I told them I need to go home. They sent me home.

Recruiter can give the best knowledge o this and when you apply and are excepted they give you letter with how much you will get paid before you go to orientation. That is what matters, not what we say or the recruiter. Anyway I believe between 31 and 35 depending on if you are van, reefer, flatbed, and what region you are. Raises are quarterly.

Starting school May 5th in Marshfield... but still trying to get info on what endorsements I should get before class starts or should I just wait to get tanker, doubles, hazmat after the class...and if getting the enhanced or extended card with finger print will really help me out or if I can wait on it... as always very appreciative of all input and info I get on here :yes2557:

Any advice on what to purchase for a fridge, Coleman's just doesn't make it a year and for $99 it should make it a lot longer than that! Advice anyone? I know having a fridge can keep the cost down in the truck stops and the extra weight off your backside by eating better

You can take your home time anywhere if there's a load to get you there.
    I use the Coleman cooler.
And I don't think endorsements are required. I don't know how often we use placards either. Don't carry much of that on my flatbed ;)

My Coleman is still going good. I think I figured out the melting plug issue. Plug was working it's way loose during driving and overheating. Secured it with some tape and no issues since.

Roehl will let you have home time anywhere you like as long as they can get loads in and out and YOU can provide a place to park the truck. Over the years I did that several different times around the country.

This next point is really important; if you do take home time other than your home be sure to get it changed back to your home when you're done or they will try to send you back there. What I mean by that is this; once I took hometime in Minneapolis even though I live in Michigan. The next time I went home they tried to send me back to Minneapolis! They had to change it in the computer to get me to Minneapolis for the home time I wanted previous. The next time I wanted home time it tried to send me back to Minneapolis.

Make sure they change it back!

If you are going to Roehl the normal endorsements are fine but forgot about Hazmat. Roehl pays peanuts when it comes to that. I think after hauling 32k lbs of of what I would call "liquid death" a couple of times I just let mine expire. I mean seriously they are getting paid big dollars to move that stuff and I got $25. Plus they don't even reimburse the $100 you have to shell to just to get the background check done.
