Ok I'll bite what about Canada horror stories? :biggrin_25517: And does Roehl run alot of flatbed loads up that way? Or curtain side loads which Iam starting to like the sound of more and more... No tarping...<sigh>

Not sure what they do now, but used to be a lot of crossing thru Canada. Ceiling tile loads would usually trip the radiation sensors when reentering the US. That was always nice when you had a new driver and a new border agent.

I had a guy that was late once and he told me that he was delayed by traffic somewhere on 17 between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie

Just stories with customs. One dude I went through Foundations with told me customs made him empty every single thing out of his truck so they could inspect it. I mean everything. When they were done they just left it all there and he had to move it all back in. Other stories with paperwork issues and being jammed up for hours. Having to break seals to check contents of trlrs and odd stuff like that.

Not all trucks are ProStars, it's a mixture of those and Freightliners. Nat'l Flatbed should be renamed: MidWest Regional Dedicated lol Get used to running I-65 and I-57.

Van is like that frequently also. I get trapped in the midwest a lot. Few weeks ago I was there the whole 11 days I was out. Felt very much like a MR driver.

LOL ahhhh the Midwest! I try to stay away! I told my fm that I was allergic to Indiana the other day and that I couldn't go there.

Must be the roads right? Gotta be the worst in the country. I tend to be allergic to the northeast myself. :)

I'm lucky enough to live in Clarksville, TN.....an hour from Logan Aluminum and 3hrs from Jackson, TN. Guess what most of my launch loads are.....heavy and tarps! lol
