So basically the only place you can breathe is down south I take it?

I just did WI to TX and back up this week. I was breathing just perfect with roughly 3400 miles on this check ;)

And long runs aren't alway necessary either. I did basically the same amount, just in WI, MO, IA, MN.

    Heysunshine Thanks this.

Wow nice.. Biggest week I had was just under 3500. Can't imagine 3400 for a flatbedder with all the extra stuff you have to do.

Yea if you can avoid getting jammed up in docks and get planned well, you can rack up miles quick.

It was nice to kick back and only drive a few days, unload, then drive back up. I'm not saying you can't do it any other way by any means. It was a nice change of pace.

    Bayle Thanks this.

I often load at the same place I unload.

3500 miles is a lot for a week. That is running pretty hard solo.

I had a student, and yes we were both pretty whipped after the week.

Not really actually. If you got a couple good long runs, it's 500 miles a day. Which if your just driving it should be 9 hrs or less of working a day.
