Heartbleed bug / Pass word creation

    If you are not aware. There is a problem with the older site encryption licenses ( SSL ). The current recommendation is to change any current password.

    Well I recently changed my Gmail password. Then with the new pass word tried logging in with my android. It failed. Some one tried to alter my Gmail account. Changed the pass word. Thankfully Gmail asked for the one I thought was current and labled the diff IP # as suspicious for me.

    If anyone cares. Here is how I generate or find info for creating passwords.

    The next time you go shopping. Walk around and photograph license plates in the parking lot. Dont take pictures of personalized or vanity plates. 2 or 3 plates will give you enough random characters for a strong password.

    Whose the pig? Or the tractor? The tractor icon I got from Tractordata.com when I was looking up info for my John Deere model 60.

    This is just to create a pw for the retirement site to see my pay stubs. And every 90 days I have to change it.

    - be 15 to 30 characters long
    - contain at least two uppercase letters (A-Z)
    - contain at least two lowercase letters (a-z)
    - contain at least two numbers (0-9)
    - contain at least two of the following special characters: # @ $ % ^ ! * + = _
    - change at least four characters from your previous password

    Your password cannot:

    - contain spaces
    - be one of your last ten previous passwords

    Not to get off subject (it is my thread and I dont mind) but.....

    Tractordata.com lists specs of all farm tractors and harvesters. Things like hp, gear speeds, torque and whole bunch of other stuff.

    anytyime i change my passwords for my email accounts. my phone never logs in. and won't accept the new passwords. i have to literally uninstall the apps. and reinstall. and program with new passwords before they work again.

    it really gets annoying, all this password crap. becuase of the A-holes of the world. used to be a 6 digit password. for all my accounts. now i'm supposed to remember a 50,000 encryptic password for every DA-- thing i log into on the internet.
