Back in Fontrucka...
Got to live the revolution yesterday. Stuck in NB I-15 for 3 hours while guys with AR-15s dressed in camo tried to protest the removal of cows. Back less than a mile from the bridge so we watched it all from a great vantage point. I would have preferred to have been driving.
The one thing I was able to take away the experience...political science, history, and law are not well covered in the home schooling crowd; of course that is assuming they can read.
Had to fly back from SLC which it turns out is 20$ cheaper than taking a bus. Go figure.
Now I have a long awaited rendezvous with vindaloo.
Little Eddy -
Obviously they weren't your cows being taken
Keep in mind that rancher ships his cattle to market...how?
Those protesters also help pay your income...just a few thoughts -
Oh, Eddy!! Where are you????
Looking for an update, wanna know how you like the koolaid. -

Last day tomorrow, I am going to miss the pool and the Indian food but I am really looking forward to going from point A to point B without all the testing criteria and having to wear long pants; I just want to make the doughnuts.
Anyone considering Schneider should know that the training process is very detailed and no one goes out on the road unless they can prove they have the goods to preform at a high standard. So glad I am not doing 275 hours of team training...happy things have worked out the way they have.
Little Eddymickimause Thanks this. -
So far I like the company and the people, now I just want to get to grab'in and grind'in.
As for all the rules and standards...hey, it's a business, I didn't expect anything different or positioned anyway other then to benefit the company.
I do like that if you play by their rules you can advance and make their program work for you...I don't whine and I don't cry and I don't expect anyone to hand me anything.
I notice that many of you who post have a very similar attitude which is why I started to consider Schneider in the first place.
It is a very big business and sometimes there is a high degree of frustration but what company with a 3.5b annual gross doesn't have some problems that trickle down to the front line employees? For the most part I like what I have seen so far and now all I want to do is update my NAT and roll; I'll leave the complaints and kicked dog stories to the crew hanging out in the TV lounge at the Love's.
Until I get told otherwise I'll be rocking the Orange Lycra hot-pants with a Mr Rogers cardigan...an outfit like that usually has people leaving me alone.
Little Eddymickimause and mickeyrat Thank this. -
I'll be looking for orange lycra hot pants and the Mr. Rogers cardigan, should I ever get to the western 11!Little Eddy Thanks this. -
Better then the lime green thong and hot pink wife beater I was gonna sport?

No one will tie us up with endless conversations at the OCs and management will pretend that we don't exist.
How do you feel about house music? Do you have one of those cat-walk mounted bubble machines, I mean like, who doesn't love bubbles?
Little Eddy -
I have a smoke machine and a mirrored disco ball hanging above my bunk that has lasers strategically pointed at it, will that work?
Little Eddy Thanks this.
