This week was another slow one. I did $2,501 on 1,443 total miles. The bright spot this week my fuel avg is up to 7.6 mpg at 65/68mph. Im hoping it picks back up next week and we get back in the money!

Pound Puppy why are you having slow weeks?
I thought you had access to Covenant freight to keep you moving.
Also, I seen an add on Craigslist for your company on Indianapolis craigslist.
Please keep giving us info. -

Poor Pound Puppy only ran 1400 miles and was out all week. He got his truck hit.
If any one deserves some of these GOOD LOADS you are referring to it is him.
Pound Puppy Thanks this. -
Ya win some, ya lose some.. Either way the show goes on, been a little slow the last two weeks.

Honestly im not sure how it works with us getting theyre freight. Its what i was told when i signed on. This week was slow due to good friday. Last week i dont know. Last two weeks have been slow, i had to stay out over weekends to prevent a really low settlement. This is my first time home in 3 or 4 weeks. I know we had a lot of bids out on loads but didnt get them. I think they have to bid high so that by the time i get my cut it is still good. Trucking is up and down, so im just staying positive.
There have been a number of wasted days though 16-26 hours between loads, for a $500 load.Granted its on 160 miles or something like that, so its a good rate. I dont like to sit, but thats just how it is.Last edited: Apr 20, 2014
Lone Ranger 13 Thanks this. -
If they are bidding on loads that means the freight belongs to someone else. It is very competitive.
I was hoping you would be able to haul Covenant freight to put you in the good freight lane or get you home so you can wait at home for the GOOD load.
Where you live is a good area for freight. They need to use the Covenant freight to keep you moving.
I suspect the Covenant freight is way to cheap or It is really not available to you. Either way it is a mystery.
I know Bill is seeing these posts and he is not saying anything about the Covenant freight.
This arrangement that I seen in your first post was Expedite Freight that pays well and Covenant freight to keep you moving.
This sounds like a great thing.
I am one of your supporters Pound Puppy. Please do not take my post as criticism towards you.
I hope you make this work.Steeleandsonfarms Thanks this.
