I don't know if i got the wrong email for you but i haven't received a reply from you or an error from the email ppl, i use gmail as well so... any how the unit glitches to the point its just siting on my dash...

Is there any way to manually remove routing restrictions? There are a lot of low clearance and other restrictions in the NYC boroughs that are not correct.

 

I'd submit them to rand so they can get corrected in the database

 

Hi Mark,
I'm having a problem when i connect the TND 720 up to my computer. Instead of opening the dock, the windows vista "autorun" pops up and i cant get the dock to open at all. It used to work fine..i havent hooked it up to the computer in awhile. Ive tried removing and reinstalling the dock software and same thing. any tips?

Problem with that is that they are technically correct, so I doubt that Rand would assume the liability of removing them from the database. For example, most bridges in NYC are marked 12 inches less than the actual clearance, and sometimes much more than that.

 

I am on my 3rd 720 in the last year. Each time a different issue. One time it was like a old tv where the screen rolled and made a horrid sound. Another one was freezing up for Long periods of time. And my newest one shut down on its own and when I reset it it starts to fire up and then shuts down in about 10 seconds. Any ideas
