All I will say is Thank your trainer... You will hear his voice like he is standing on your shoulder all the time and if he's good he will save your life. I learned by a very tough trainer that didn't give me a break on anything and I say thanks everyday for him never giving me a break and all the yelling because if you can't take that you just might not be choosing the right career. I went to school just to see if there was more I needed to take my test and really didn't learn anything that applied on the real road.

Yes, its part of the training preparing you to be a trucker.:biggrin_2551: but it usually passes, at least until the next time.

Do what you do best.... drive. A wise man once told me. Forget everything and just get in the truck and drive. Just drive. I've lived by that and it definitely helps me. I just hop in and drive. No stress. I love this job.

I know how you feel. I'm in my 2nd week solo and it's getting better everyday. Not as fast loading as I'd like to be but I don't stop, i do what I need to do. I was pretty nervous about backing but I've backed in places already I didn't think I could. I've learned to hate dfw, but I've finally gotten the hang of navigating through it. I thought you were going to mcelroy.

I think that the overwhelming majority of us appreciate the sacrifices of our service members. Many of them have turned to trucking, and that's a good thing. Let's don't get into a lot of bickering over it, in case others disagree with that.

So, let's keep this on topic, please - feeling stressed while in training.
