100 in each tank, so 200 gallons.

The trick is when you send in your empty call, always put in the little box as far as fuel left, at least 1/8 less than you have. The fuel system is a little screwy. They know that many, if not all of our truck have fuel gauges that are off, plus we we trucks that have tanks that are 120 gallons.

If you need reefer fuel you can usually just ask for the comdata station code and then call phoenix and ask them to authorize emergency reefer fuel.

As far as showers go, I noticed with swift you dont need a PO to get reimbursed for items under $20. So if you pay for a shower save the receipt, and put your truck number, trip number, and driver code, and send it in with the trip, maybe theyll reimburse it. I havent tried it. But usually if its under $20, they dont say much. This is what I do if I need a light bulb, or a part. Just pay cash and send in the receipt.

When they open up fuel for you guys, do you get that stupid emergency 50 gallons as well? Which isn't really 50 gallons, it stops conveniently at 49 gallons so you don't get a shower point... I'm really getting pissed with this company... what's the problem with just opening me up to put in about 80 gallons or so or however far I'm going to drive that day...

Tell the person you ask to open the fuel to put in the computer to give you 51 gallons. They're supposed to do that. That way you do get the credit. You know that message that comes across when you request e fuel? If it says total gallons 50. Call them back and say. Nope. Put 51.

They had 51 gallons on this one but when i used the pump it stopped pumping at 48.443 gallons and then popped up on the screen please replace pump. I tried to squeeze the handle down just a little to get it to go to 50 but nothing would come out, just went completely dry. It feels like this company is intentionally trying to screw me out of shower points even though it doesn't cost them anything to let me get them. It costs me on average 14 dollars a day however that is just pissing me off. I can't afford to be paying that much a week just to be taking showers that are supposed to be credited to us.

I sent a message to dispatch saying to just open me up, let me fill up what I needed to so that I could earn my shower credit, response was : YOU CAN'T.

...Why am I the only one not able to get a shower credit? It's such a simple thing...

Only take a shower when you really stink bad, like when your keeping your self up at night. That's the way a lot of guys do it.

If you've got enough time to watch tv in the lounge you've got enough time to take a shower, any one of us will give you one off our card.

You don't need to maximize it unless your working for the big 5.

McScrup, i worked for Knight trans and they did the same thing, only authorized fuel at certain points, HOWEVER i filled up regardless of what they said to get. if i needed more i would just call and ask. like said earlier your tank is ALWAYS 1/8th off. needle says 1/4 you have 1/8. tank says 1/8 your on E. not sure how fuel anal Swift is(never worked there) but your fleet mgr should allow you to get 52 or more gallons of diesel, regardless of reefer or tractor. i still have reward cards for all fuel stops, Pilot/Flying J, Loves, petro/TA. send a messsage to your fuel dept asking for a higher lmit
