Your welcome fencitup. Clearly NRG's spec is better if you need a real low first and need pulling power off the line.....But seems like op mostly gonna do coast to coast. Idealy they would make the X1LED in the larger size like the XZN2. If they made a bigger X1LED, that would be the ultimate combo of both our specs.

Actually, the Xone XDA energy wouldn't be a bad choice. Many places still stock it even though it was replaced by the X1 line energy D. But, it did come in the larger size like the XZA2. If you can find it, its the larger size with way better rr.

Only drawback with 500 HP is you will pay thousands more for both the HP upgrade and extended warranty compared to the 455 HP spec.

Oh by the way. Now going dry I'm thinking of changing to 780 from 670 . Anyone know average gvw between the 2 ?

500-600lb. plus or minus a few pounds, added mostly to your drives.

If your going with dry van a shorter wheel base will help in tight menuvering situations. Im more of a Freghtliner guy so im not sure of the volvo wheel bases. Thats not gonna make or break a truck though, so the salesman/trailer manufacturer should be able to help you out with that one. Just get a sliding 5th so you can adjust if you need to.
As for air ride stear, get what you want, but it not so much smoother then leaf. I wouldn't spend money on that. Im also not sold on disk brakes. I've heard users complain about brake fade on them. They are less maintance, but i would not want to sacrifice down hill stop ability. I;v only had disk on one truck and it was poorly maintained, so i may have a bad test of disk. I know my drums will stop me whenever i need lolGITRDUN45 Thanks this. -
I have the over drive I shift and 342. I run out of east coast Canada Dry van. Lots of hills mostly 75-80 k run seaboard, Carolina's and Texas. Usually same weights heading from there to ontario sometimes Quebec and then very light back east. Last round was 7.7 halifax to houston. 7.9 houston to toronto. And 9.2 toronto to halifax. I run 60-63. My wheel base is 232 yours sounds long with the 670 as it's 7 inches shorter in the bunk.
Make sure you get the 13200 steer axel, helps to close the gap, and they usually are heavier on the steer axel.
Don't get the oil less hubs!!! They suck
The factory shore power and inverter/ charger is great.
I don't like the hill assist and usually turn it off.
The upgraded heat/ air controls aren't worth it either I'd just get the regular cold one way hot the other. The pick a temp is good theory but it doesn't work well in extremes. -
I can scale an honest 44,000 in a dry van. Tho when you pick up from a not so honest shipper that says 440. 100 lb bags of organic rice bran is 44000 lbs, ask if he figured in the 440 plastic bags, and 22 pallets, now your 80600, with 1/2 tanks!!! Don't ask....
