I bob tailed to owensboro but I fueled in Indiana before going into KY I didn't fill up at the bp near the GB OC I only put 50 gallons to get me to Indiana and saved .20 a gallon. I pulled 44k out of owensboro to Ga.

I was at 10.6 mpg Bobtailing I fought the wind the whole way to Owensboro. From Owensboro to Monroe Ga my average went down to 8.5 from Ga to Crossville Tn to my house in Jonesboro my average on the dash went back up to 8.7 when I fueled and did the math from the fill up in Indiana to Cleveland Tn it worked out to 8.6 I know 8.6 is not going to be my average but #### if I won't try to make it close....... I only drive 60 unless down hill LOL

that is really good fuel mileage. I've too done up to 10 mpg pulling an empty but about 7.3 is average in a 2014 cascadia (except for the winter months).

Great fuel mileage. But... unless something has changed in the last couple years... that .20 gal you saved in IN will actually cost you money when you pay your IFTA taxes. Unless of course, SNI is paying them for you. They are probably processing them for you, but I bet the money comes out of your settlement. Learning the ins and outs of IFTA taxes and how they work from state to state is worthwhile as an o/o.

I got po at sni for there whacky fuel stops. After researching it's about taxes. Just like it's cheaper to fuel in Nc then sc even though pump price is cheaper in SC.

I agree about taxes but i bought enough fuel in WI to cover those miles and wasnt going to fuel in IL and dont plan on running up there too much. I usually buy fuel in every state i run thru in a week. This week I will buy fuel in TN VA GA NC SC these are only states I'll be running this week.

Why do you buy fuel in every state ??? Buying means spending money
