Ah yes..I just hit the house with a drop for Monday.
Fought DC traffic today..what a joy.
Not a bad week..getting better..with the drop for Monday I'll be at $4600 for the week with 1850 miles.
Missed a full day due to a check engine light..which turned out to be minor once they figured it out.

Would like to see how a team does on the choice plan. Ever heard recent numbers as far as lease and gross etc? Solo seems to be pretty good too.
tynodine Thanks this. -
What do they say about the best laid plans.....
Picked up my load in CT and delivered to Pittston PA. Next load I had out of the same place I delivered into was not ready. In fact it was canceled and nobody bothered to tell me! So I called Schneider and they confirmed it was canceled and I get the $150 VNU - Vehicle Not Used.
I jump on the load board and of course nothing is available where I want/need to go. So I take the day off and BT the 90 miles to my new house and am hanging out with the wife's family on Mother's Day.
$300 in lost revenue for the day. It could be worse....
Back at it tomorrow for the last day of the pay period.Grijon Thanks this. -
Don't feel bad, my load got the appointment changed. I am doing a 34 at the Atlanta OC.

I didn't have a great day either. Left home planning to book the loads from the same customer(s) I ran last week. Ends up the one I delivered too today appears to not post up new loads on the weekends. I watched and watch and watched and yep nothing like I was expecting came up. Ended up grabbing something else out of the area to take me back to NC... will be watching and try it again. Oh well... always something to learn when it comes to dealing with customers you haven't been to before.

I gotta question may be off topic.. I was reading on there website that they require or it would benefit me to have 3 months OTR before I did lease deal.. I have 6 is that info correct? Or am I missing somthing?
-
From what I was told if you are a company driver for Schneider you only need 3 months OTR then you can lease. 6 months OTR if you are coming in from another company.
