This could be an absolute necessity if a driver cannot get to restroom, due to a restroom being out of commission, or a place of business NOT allowing the drivers to use their restrooms. Also, the driver may be out in the middle of nowhere and there may not be a restroom for miles around.

Probably an obvious question, but how do you empty and clean it? I mean it's not too likely a truck stop will let you rinse it out in a sink, right? Or do you wait till you get home weeks or months later? Just curious

The bottom part of it literally clicks off and locks. You flush the contents down a normal toilet at your convenience...i.e. at a truck stop toilet....Alternatively...wen annoyed by Lot Lizard at 3am.....open window.....open lock mechanism.....release......close window....go back to sleep

    PHEW!!
That would POSITIVELY be a PERMEATING message to relay to a Lot Lizard, along with any other "NOSY" intruders or "visitors".

So some of the poo just stays in the bottom part for weeks/months. No wonder the lot lizards would go running. guess it's better than messing with poo when you can just drain it.

Okay I have to add in on the maggots part. I wore my rank on my sleeve and had to baby those with it on the shoulder. My transportation was a big canopy then LPC's (leather personnel carriers). Hated those tin cans. I worked with some of the British Paras during Gulf 1.

Some of the maggots you will have to deal with are shippers and receivers and flashlight cops at some of the places. I medically retired after 10 years and have a college degree. You get some of these A-holes that think you are dumb and just a driver. I used to also teach martial arts so I give them two choices. 1) what is your email so I can go to my truck and start hacking into your account (degree in IT) or 2) can I see if a pressure point technique I've been working on works on you haha.

    gntorres61 Thanks this.

Difficult with regards to qualifying, down payment etc etc. that was my experience at first. Once you get that out if the way, it's plain sailing. It's not like buying a car. So many variables with a trucks should I buy new or used. I made my fair share of mistakes

I have no doubt that you babied a lot of people. I was lucky enough to have some amazing Juniors and Seniors in my first Troop and rather than run in guns blazing I took a step back and LISTENED and let my Sergeant run the show. I will say, that some of my colleagues in the Mess should have and WOULD have been outright discharged if they had to go through the daily Inspections Troopers did for example. I personally didn't believe in daily inspections and my Troop would usually have only once weekly.....I believe in giving someone the rope to hang themselves with rather than hanging them first! I have no doubt the shippers and receivers are just as bad as anyone else...the difference is, I won't have to live with any of them for any period of time!! As for your experience...I am somewhat jealous as jumping out of a plane is one thing I never got to experience!

Thank you for the advice, by the way!
