Not exactly. You add a solution which helps keep/make it all liquidish....Kind of like the blue crap you see on an aeroplane when you flush. This toilet HAS a flush mechanism on the top left hand corner which mixes it all together using basic vacuum. This makes for really easy cleanup later on.

Ok Star got to add my attempt at humor! Are you looking to pull Tanks? Sorry had to ask. Another item to bring up is

the horror stories, and you stated you do your research? Didn't you ever hear horror stories about the Military before

you came aboard? Just IMO sounds like you are ready just looking for a nudge. Ex-Marine here and our motto was

Lead Me, Follow me or get the F outta My Way. Good Luck to you Sir!

I actually never heard horror stories about the Military no......It was expected....I was born into it and not joining wasn't an option that was accepted for the Eldest son in my family. My two younger brothers got away scott free though!

In reality, I'd pull anything! :D It says you're still fairly new (0-1 years)...hows it going for you so far?

Here is another bit of advise I just thought about reading your thread. Like mentioned before get the CDL on your own and than go start knocking on doors with smaller carriers. Talk to the person that runs the trucks. That is what I did when I went back to trucking after a 10 absence. I still had my CDL, but no recent experience. I found a small carrier in the neighbor town that had a sign hanging on the fence. On my first day they showed me there paperwork and did some odds and ends on the second day I left with a brand new truck and trailer since that driver did not come back from his vacation.

I'm thinking a trucker with experience will be a better O/O later and will build some connections to get more business when he does buy or lease later. Just make sure you research the good, bad and ugly on this forum BEFORE you sign on with anyone.

Here is one closer to home.....trying to be a successful O/O right away is like trying to be a DR. straight out of med school....know a bit about that too my oldest son just started his 1st year of family medicine residency last July. Get to know just how the industry works from it's lowest rung...( not the least and by far not the least important rung ) , but starting out you'll need all of the knowledge of how trucking works to be successful....all the money in the world won't keep you working if you don't understand the why's and what - for's to start with...

Doing fine still local my situation involved 2 family deaths as I was in CDL School. One was mother to my

daughter(weren't together at the time) and my mother. Have long story about job offers...but either way

I still have options and Chinatown has me leaning towards tanks. Thanks for asking. Not much experience yet

OTR but worked the docks for a few years and lots of construction.

Well said. On a separate note I sure wish the wife went into family practice! Although they make half the money they are their own boss!

First of all, sorry to hear about your losses. I have no doubt that is a tough situation to be in but you seem to have your head up and keep going and that's the most important part!! Hopefully things can only go up from here right? :D

I'm just doing my research right now into the best way to get my license here and we will take it from there!
