Google Nexus7 with CoPilot is what I've been using for almost 3 years now. It's my second tab but the license is still good (as already mentioned). There was a new update which changed some things but I'm getting used to them. Of course if you buy the latest version of the app you'll never know about it. The customer service absolutely sux! So don't expect anything there. I use the car version set to a motorhome 13' tall. As SOP I always double check everything against the atlas. From what I hear the car version gets updates more frequently. One thing the truck version does is keep track of state mileages if that's important to you.

state mileage isn't accurate though.
for instance, day 1 of the new month. you roll through nevada on the 15. 122 miles. but only 95 is logged. -
The only real problem with the android is that if you have a wifi only tablet, it doesnt work when you leave the hotspot.

Personally I loathe CoPilot as I bought it and it couldnt find how to get from Ellsworth Maine to Poland Water (used CoPilot Truck in a laptop). It kept having me drive around a block in the town of Westbrook. Or on another route, instead of sending me down a freeway being quickest route, it decided that I had to go surface roads in New Jersey adding an hour to my clock. Glad you like it. I think it is the worst thing a driver could use. A total waste of time and money! Hell, even the people at ALK were useless! -
of course some of the real professionals dont go looking for hotspots
they have one in the truck -
Well I drove 200 feet from my house before it had a heart attack and ceased to function.
