No, no training program. All my training was on the job. We need drivers so bad at our terminal. I worked 12 hours monday and 13 1/2 hours yesterday.

An ABF driver told me one time they don't send you to driving school if you've already got 2 years experience.
Should hopefully be going in for a road test tomorrow and to finish the onboarding paperwork. -

Do the P&D guys ever go out to help with linehaul?
I'm seeing a local ABF terminal looking for P&D guys on a 4 day on 3 off schedule, which sounds great. Just wondering if that's the norm for city guys and whether they're allowed to pick up an extra day to cover a road route if they're short handed.
I've never been in a union so I'm not sure how that effects things like that. Thanks
